Ocean Villas Condos are located in St. Augustine Beach, Florida. There are 137 condominium units, built in 1982-84. Ocean Villas offers four floor plans, in either the townhouse (2 levels) or flat (1 level), ranging in size from 1200 - 1300 square feet. Each Ocean Villas condo has two or three bedrooms and two baths. The laundry is located inside each unit. Ocean Villas is a beachfront complex with ocean front condos, ocean view condos and non ocean view units.

There are two sections of buildings at Ocean Villas, lagoon buildings and the ocean front section. In the lagoon section, the buildings are in a circle shape, with the lagoon and pool in the middle. Winter visitors like to use the pool in the lagoon area because it blocks the cool breeze. Most of the three bedroom units are located in this area. This section has elevators, whereas the ocean front section does not.

If you were looking at the condo from above, you’d see that the ocean front buildings are arranged in a "V" shape. The only direct oceanfront units are at the end of the "V.” The other units in the "V" have very good ocean views. Some of the second and third floor units have better views than some ocean front condos. In the ocean front section, there is a nice oceanfront pool with a gazebo and walkway to the beach.

At this time, there is an on-site rental office, or you may choose another off-site rental management company. We do not handle rentals.

Crescent Beach Florida has a nostalgic air about it. Step back to the 1960s when small cottages nudged right up next to ponderous two-story oceanfront homes on narrow streets running parallel to the ocean. Crescent Beach is primarily made up of "local" residents, people who have lived here most of their lives and wouldn’t think of living some where else.

Private homes, vacation rentals and condos are mixed throughout this small oceanfront community and over the years building has extended several blocks back from the ocean across A1A to the Intracoastal Waterway. Most of the homes in Crescent Beach are within walking distance of the beach or Intracoastal, and the majority of new homes are concentrated St. Augustine Beach.

Crescent Beach has a number of condominiums such as Summerhouse Condo, Atlantic East Condos and Crescent Sandpiper Condominium. There are only a handful of new subdivisions in Crescent Beach because most of the residential property has been developed. Prices of homes vary greatly. On occasion, a small two-bedroom cottage can be found in the low $300,000s, while oceanfront homes list at over $1,000,000

By the late 1960s, a new part-time resident came on the scene, the condominium owner. Many single family homes along the beach gave way to the condominiums while single family homes still dominate the Intracoastal Waterway.

Crescent Beach Condo for sale

In the late 1890’s, Crescent Beach became summertime residence for people from Hastings, Palatka and Gainesville. One of Crescent Beach’s most famous residents was author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. She lived and worked in Crescent Beach from the mid-1940s until her death in 1953.
